Description:

Welcome to my first swap! It is newbie friendly since I know how difficult it is to find swap to participate in and build up your ratings; also, it is perfect for the not-so-crafty like myself!

All you need to do is write diary/journal entries for seven consecutive days!

~ This mini project is easy enough to allow you to put your own flavour and style into it - especially as you only send to one person!: Elaborate your entries, write about your thoughts you had on that day, use your senses, help the reader understand who you are, what makes you tick, what you do during your days, use journalling prompts etc

~ If English is not your first language, or you are around other languages in your daily life, show that in your writings, and maybe even check with your partner whether or not they understand your first language so you can use your preferred language.

~ You only need to write seven days worth of entries: You can begin writing as soon as you like, but I hope I will allow enough time for everyone to send their entries out on time.

~ You can either simply write or type it on paper, or make a notebook out of it.

~ Other stuff you should know: ~ I would like to emphasise on writing content rather than drawing/crafting ability, so please take the writing content into account when giving hearts. I will not angel in this swap - but hopefully no one will be let down in this swap since it is fairly straightforward. Newbies are welcome with a very full and well-written profile otherwise you must have a rating of 5. I will be very strict when reviewing participants, so make sure that you have a well-written and full profile! Please ensure that you have time to commit to this swap, and are able to send before the due date - late senders are never fun.

Any questions? Just message me! Please also let me know if you are not happy with your partner's swap.

Does it have to be a journal, or can it be letters? Cool swap.

Thank you junieandj! Yep, it can be sent as a letter, it doesn't matter how it's presented really, as long as it covers seven consecutive days and you enjoy it!

Please note I have extended the dates to allow more time to prepare for this! You can write more than a weeks worth of entries if you wish. You can be as creative as you like, but please remember when rating to consider the effort your partner has put into their writing :)

Hi everyone, I'm sorry about the delay in assigning the partners!

I hope everyone enjoys this swap, and please let me know if you would like me to extend the deadline because I did not assign partners earlier. Enjoy being creative with your writings!!

I am unable to send my swap yet since there is a serious postal strike... I hope it ends soon!!

mariposa 08/27/2009 #

Please note that I have had to extend the swap by a few days since my local post office has ended up shutting down so I can't get into town for a bit I'm really sorry :(

Mariposa...Is England still having the postal strike?

mariposa 09/ 2/2009 #

Sorry for getting back to you so late, no the strike ended, but it was only certain areas that were affected.
