I saw this great swap idea in the Swap-Bot archives and with permission from JWeather I am going to try hosting my first swap. The idea is to make a paper doll out of heavy cardstock and decorate, embellish and alter out of any medium you choose. Feel free to stamp, sew, paint, glue or glitter until your heart is content! 1 doll for 1 partner. Your doll must be at least 6 inches head to toe and no more than 12 inches. She/he can have movable parts or not. The creativity is up to you! No flakers...I will haunt you forever :-) Newbies are welcome with a plump profile. No recent 1's unless you pm me first with the details. I'm really disappointed that this is in the U.S.A. only! I would be happy to join if it were available to Canadians -- I wouldn't have thought the cost of postage for a paper doll wouldn't be too much, even if it's altered.

I'd also plead for a change to intl. A paperdoll doesn't weigh that much, with movable limbs even a large doll can be "contorted" to fit into a standard envelope that costs less than a dollar to ship.

You can put a hanger on the back if you want but it is totally your call.....

I really enjoyed this swap! Thanks so much for making it international. I made my doll but I like her so much I may have to make another one for my partner rather than send her away... :)
