US/CANADA ONLY PLEASE! In this swap you will swap 1 altered compostion book. You will buy 1 regular plain jane composition book and cover it with paper or fabric. You will then decorate it with embellishments and send off to your partner. If you are unsure of what an altered composition book is - please visit www.twopeasinabucket.com and check out their layout gallery resources for ideas. Do a search under "composition book" in order to see some wonderful examples. Embellishment ideas include a monogram, flowers, picture frame - the possibilites are endless. Please sign the book with your name or the like on the inside of the front cover!~ If you do not know what a composition book is or have any questions on this swap - please feel free to contact me! do we just decorate the covers or inside as well?

The inside covers should be covered. They do not need to be decorated! If you want to - go ahead! I have included a couple of links to help anyone out! I would like to do several more of these swaps and maybe give them a theme. The are really inexpensive and fun to make. Depending on how this one goes - I would like to do one for Fall, Winter - etc.! I keep one in my tote at Christmas time for gift ideas, Christmas cards and any ideas that come running into my head for the holiday.

So, just decorate the cover, but not the inside pages?

Yes, please decorate the outside and just cover the inside. If you want to decorate the inside covers - go ahead if you are in the crafty mood when you are making it. It is not a requirement that the inside covers be decorated.

CathyJ, book arrived yesterday and totally made my day. I was having a cruddy day, but then I opened the wild package (loved that envelope you used) and found the most wonderful book. Love it!! Thank you!

What happens to the people that don't send? My swap partner is in 22 other swaps but I have not received my altered comp book and it does not look like it has been mailed. Does their rating fall?
