Description:

This is a swap for aprons. The apron can be any type (ex: traditional, garden, cooking) just as long as it beautiful. By beautiful, I mean you checked out your partners profile and you think it fits what they are looking for.

This can be bought and embelished but handmade is lovely too.

Aprons are great for beginners and also most size fit all. If you are concerned about size, email your partner once they are assigned.

This is your chance to make a one of a kind beautiful/modern/funky, whatever kind of apron.

I love aprons and I think you can't have enough. A for Apron book has way cool patterns and you can find all kinds of free tutorials on line.

Newbie’s welcome, all swappers must have good ratings. Email me if you want.

Please nothing too cute in the patterns departement like teddy bears, ducks etc. That's more my mother's taste :p

i would love to join this swap but i think i would need more than 1 week to check partners profile, buy fabric and then make the apron. is there any way that we could have more time on this.

Fittzwm 07/ 2/2009 #

I would join, but I think a week could be a bit tight timing for some. I would really want to do this right. It's on my watch list.

On my watch list as well, but worried about time.

vanessalouise 07/ 3/2009 #

thanks for extending the time, on my watch list i will join closer to the time =)

royalblend 07/ 6/2009 #

It is on my watch list. If you would extend the time to about 3-4 weeks I would consider it. One week is not enough time to buy material, check profile and make something wonderful.

I have joined this swap now and am looking forward to the creations that come out of it.

I just have joined. I'm very excited, this one is my first swap here. I just wanted to say like Idsartha that I don't like animal motives like bears, ducks and so on. But I like zebra and leopard prints with contrasting colors or flower motives à la shabby chic. I'm more the rockabilly girl in the kitchen.

Retro prints are by far my faves for an apron. Please, if it can be avoided, no pink princess or baby prints. I look forward to seeing what my partner creates!

I love flirty aprons. I am fairly easy to please. I prefer full over half, but love my half aprons as well :)
