Established/New Friendship Book (FB) Swap

Regular Friendship Books aka FB's are penpal booklets with cover and blank pages for folks to put their addy label and list what they are looking for in a penpal or swapper. They are smaller in size than a card for the most part, so that they can fit in a small envelope for mailing. The first person listed is who the Fb is for, the second person is the maker of the Fb (although sometimes that is the same person so it just says 'for/by'). The Fb is then swapped to another person who wants to sign and pass it along to another signer. If you don't have any regular folks you swap fb's with, then swaps like this on Swap bot are ideal to keep the Fb's moving along to others. When there is no more room to sign in a Fb, the Fb should be mailed back to the person it was made for - Fb's that are full are often called 'homers'.

Hey all THERE WAS A GLITCH IN THE PARTNERS, some folks got two the same....

It was a glitch. I've heard from folks on both sides (sending/receiving)... my best advice is, since the system won't redo the partners, just send once and rate once and IGNORE the other duplicated one and the corresponding rating...if you can please include a note in your swap that you do send out for this swap saying what happened so the folks know what happened, in case they don't go back to the actual swap page and read the comments here, that should ensure no bad ratings at the end of it all.

The above advice is ONLY for those people who got the two same (duplicated) partners assigned, if you got two different folks don't worry about it, and send as normal.
