Description:

For this swap, you will have 3 partners. You buy 1 yard of 100% cotton fabric (or use one from your stash) and cut it into 4 fat quarters, one each for 3 partners and one for you to keep. The theme for this swap is SUMMER.

It can be:

  • Summer Fruits- Strawberries, Blueberries, Watermelon, Citrus

  • Picnic stuff- Bees, Butterflies, Fireflies, Hot Dogs, Fire Works

  • Beach Stuff- Sun, Beach Balls, Bathing Suits, Kites, Sand Castles, Umbrella's, Flip-Flops/sandals, Nautical is acceptable

    • Think Sun, Fun & Summer! Please NO plain solid color fabrics because anybody can buy those anywhere. No clothing or linen pieces allowed. It must be fabric! Sender's choice. Check your partners profile for ideas or wishes!

If your not sure if a fabric will be acceptable- feel free to PM me or leave a comment below. I'm happy to do a private swap if you really want some Summer related fabric too. I understand that not all countries have Summer related fabric, which is why I have broadened the theme - so again, if in doubt - ask! :O)

It's is NOW required to include a small note- it can be really frustrating when there's no note attached to the swap item and it leaves the recipient guessing which swap this package/item is from? Some folks are in more than 1 fabric/sewing type groups. It doesn't have to be a notecard- it can be on a simple sheet of scrap paper, post-it sticky, simple stationery or even printed out. A swap card is acceptable too! So please remember to include a note in your package/mail. No one should have to back track. It only takes a few moments! Thanks!

As always, it's fun to send little extras like sewing supplies or notions or notecards or something relating to your partner's profile, etc., but it is not mandatory.

You must be a member in good standing of the Fabric Art Divas group and must have a rating of 4.9 or higher and NO unexplained 1's AT ALL and no 3's in the past 3 months.

You must also have completed at least 10 "real mail" swaps (email swaps and postcards don't count), so, sorry - No Newbies. Also, you must have a decently filled profile and I WILL be checking profiles. This is International.

If there any flakers- I will ban you from future FAD Group: FQ&F's series swaps. If I need angels- I will ask for volunteers. Please post a note in the comments section or PM me if you're willing to help angel.

This will be a continued series! Feel free to PM me for suggestions

NOTE: I am angeling for @Sunnie as she is on informal LOA for surgery and recuperating! I want her to focus on recovering and not have to worry about this swap. This is beyond her control so I will angel on her behalf ~A~
