Last day to signup/drop:June 13, 2009
Date items must be sent by:June 27, 2009
Number of swap partners:2
Description:

Last time I hosted this swap, there were not so many participants, but I hope that this time more people will join.

This swap is for one 3D (or lenticular) postcard for two partners, so a total of 2 3D postcards. 3D postcards can be postcards with a photo with a 3D effect, I tried to make a picture of one I received in a postcard swap on Swap-bot. Another type of a 3D postcard is a card whith a picture, which changes into another picture when you flip the postcard. Both types of postcards are covered with a layer of ribbed plastic.

If you like these postcards too, this is the swap for you.

When you're having trouble finding these cards, there are many stores on the internet that sell these cards. You have to search for '3D postcards' or 'lenticular postcards'

You will send 1 3D postcard to each of your 2 partners, so 2 3D postcards in total.

I'd be interested in just one card to swap to a partner....??? Just for Fun... I'm sitting on a good one, but won't have time to shop for another.

Do optical illusion cards count?

veltheimia 06/ 2/2009 #

hi ericae,

Optical illusion cards don't count. Maybe I will host a swap for those. I have some great M.C. Escher postcards. If you wish we can do a private swap.

@Bquiltin09 I have sent you a pm a while ago, but you haven't read it yet. I can do a private swap for one Lenticular Postcard with you. Please send me a pm if interested.

I don't really mean MC Escher type cards, I have these strange postcards that have a partially see through layer on top of the postcard that you manually spin, and the picture changes like a kaleidoscope. I have no idea what what category these would fit into.
