Occasionally I'm a girlie girl, and love a good cocktail night in with friends. There's something about mixing your own drinks that is so much more fun than going out for drinks! Of course, if there was a cocktail waiter putting on a great show while making my drinks up, I might make an exception!! This swap is for a simple notecard (store bought, handmade, whatever - sender's choice), with a cocktail recipe inside. Include a story about the drink, or a cocktail night, or a party, or anything else you like, related or not. Just make your notecard personal, on top of the scrummy drink recipe you choose to share! International, of course, since it costs buttons to send something as light as a notecard. You will send 1 card to each of your 3 partners. You can send the same cocktail recipe to each if you wish, or different ones. Please, no no-sends within the last year, but newbies are entirely welcome with a filled-out profile.

what size are notecards? Sorry Im new and I have no idea what size to make them I am thinking about doing hand made......

Notecards can be any size really - think vaguely the size of a store bought birthday card, but don't be constrained by proportions! I'd say one side is usually around 6 inches, probably, but it really varies.

so if i take a piece of paper and cut it in 1/2 then fold that 1/2 in 1/2 then it would be about the side of a note card right? Sorry im asking so many questions i am so new it isnt even funny. lol

I think if you use index cards, that should be the right size. But dont worry so much about size specifications. Just decorate the card and have a yummy recipe listed :)

When can we get our partners? I created a few cards and am waiting for my list and addresses...

Yes, the size doesn't really matter, as long as you've made an effort!! Also, that you can fit a cocktail recipe inside it!! Or on it...

@ ravensboo. just use a postcard if you're having trouble. the size of a picture would work perfect as well. 4x6.

hey everyone! i'm not sure if anyone else will look at this now that its mostly over but I thought I'd advertise a group i just started! its cocktails and drinks, recipes and things! come join and we can all swap our fav. cocktails all the time!
