You know the file folders we use everyday for business...the 8 1/2" X 11" kind? Let's save money and decorate our own! Decorate 2 file folders for each of 2 partners (that's 4 folders all together). Let's make them beautiful but still functional - so no heavy textures and 3-d embellishments. All swappers with 4.5 rating and no more than 1 no send are welcome. Newbies with completed profile and reference to an offsite blog may join. I will be checking profiles before I assign partners. Email me if you need to.

Are you talking about manilla folders, colored folders or those hanging type folders? Are these the type you use to file things in a file cabinet? I'm interested just not sure which type folder to buy. Ãœ

Just regular letter size file folders, kind of a buff colour. That's what I picked up anyway, some are fun colours (I never even thought of those, darn!).

So we should decorate ones that already exist? Or can we use one as a template and use cardstock, etc to make one? Or is either way okay?

I don't know where to get a peice of cardstock big enough for a standard file folder. I am using purchased buff solders and decorating them with pretty papers, etc. Any way you like but keep it functional, OK?

I just changed the description, so it reads "decorate our own" not "make our own". Hope it makes sense now!

Poggy123 - you'll never believe it - my Dad scooped the folders! He was over and saw them and said "My, those would suit me." He doesn't usually pay much heed to my swap stuff and I could tell he was really taken with them. He never asks for anything, so I let him have them (which was difficult for me as I really like them too!) So your artwork has gone to his place and he will use them well. Just wanted you to know, as it is really a compliment to you that he likes them so.

suefitz and kissofdawn - so sorry about lateness, thought I had packed necessary to finish folders and send while I was on vacation but left all behind. Returned yesterday and will get folders out ASAP. Hope yuo have not given up on me - am really really sorry!

suefitz and kissof dawn - folders have been sent to PO! I am very sorry for the delay and appreciate your patience. This has been a difficult period for me but all is back to normal now.
