CSS: Cryptid Letter - Oct 2024

Let's do a letter swap!

For this swap, please send your partner a cryptid themed pen pal letter that you think they would enjoy reading. Topic can be anything you like so long as it relates somehow to cryptids. The focus is on the writing, anything else is just sprinkles on top.

I'm going to give a couple of weeks between partners assigned. Please do a bit of a pen pal letter/introduction to make the writing personal. :)

Specifics:

• at least 1 page (US letter/A4, 2 pages if using smaller stationery)
• profile based writing
• no need to decorate or add extras
• typed or handwritten is ok
• international

Some topics if you're struggling to think of what to write:

• Facts/stories about your favorite cryptid
• What sort of cryptid you'd like to be
• A local to you cryptid
• Do you think the evidence is really strong for the existence of one cryptid above the rest?
• Make up a new story about an existing cryptid (though let your partner know it is not part of the canonical lore!)
• What would you do if you meet a cryptid in your backyard?
• Which cryptid would you marry?
• What are some good marketing slogans if your favorite cryptid needed a PR boost?
• What sort of wardrobe would your favorite cryptid wear?
• What is on your favorite cryptid's go to playlist?
