CPG Early Advent Day 8-14 - US

This is a US only swap and will not be cheap postage!

I will host 4 separate advent swaps, each for one week, so if you do all four swaps you should end up with a total of 25 little gifts/envelopes. Each swap will be for 7 gifts, with the last swap for 5, including Christmas Day.

You don't need to participate in the whole series.

Each weekly swap should mail for $6-$12 and the value should total $20+ or about $2-3/per gift. Do NOT sign up if you can't commit to sending nice items, please and thanks.

I will host a late advent swap in October as well if you aren't ready for the holidays.

Week 2: Days 8-14 of December.

1 partner, 7 seasonal small, filled envelopes or wrapped packages, numbered 1-7 and sent with one holiday card to your partner. If you participate in the full 4 swaps, you should end up with a full advent calendar, with a filled envelope/small gift for each day of December!

Requirements:

• Make, buy, or decorate 7 envelopes or gift bags (minimum is atc size, NO maximum size (I had a bunch go over:) or wrapped packages and they can be different sizes and shapes, handmade is welcome.

• Envelopes must be holiday/christmas themed - wrapping paper or plain envelopes you have decorated enough that they will look festive if displayed. If your item is too fat for an envelope, just wrap it up nicely. Use flat embellishments only - stickers, washi, HD/HP, collage.

• Number them from 8-14.

• Fill each one with a flat to fat treat that your partner will be delighted to open in December. The gift do not need to be holiday themed. NO JUNK, NO PAPER SCRAPS, NO FREEBIE items - y'all send nice stuff, don't waste your time and money sending junk.

If an item is gently used and you would be happy to receive it, then that's acceptable. Limit 1 used item per swap and up to 2 handmade items are fine, no food or drink unless it is something specifically listed on your partner's profile and will not melt, decay, expirre before Feb 2025. Gum, hard candies, teas, etc, but ONLY if they are on your partner's profile. Al other items can be senders choice.

• Securely pack them in a box or large bubble envie and mail via USPS **with tracking*.

You MUST Send the tracking number to your partner - this will mail for a parcel and cost at least $6 to mail.

• Since the items are not necessarily profile based, please start making your envelopes as soon as you sign up!! But please check your partner's profile and see what they like or don't like - do not send anything on their do not like list.

• The goodies do not have to be holiday themed, but they do need to be nice things such as: (this is not a comprehensive list, just ideas if you need inspo)

1 long memo pads
1 new pack of pens/marker
1 pairs of earrings/necklace/bracelet if appropriate
1 face/hand sheet mask, if appropriate
1 lip balm, hand sanitizer or hand lotion, if appropriate
1 handmade bar of soap or scrub, if appropriate
1 $2+ gift card to Starbucks or similar
1 large envie worth of ephemera/die cuts/tags
1 mini pocket letter
1 new stencil/stencil set
1 rubber stamp/paper punch/clear cling stamps
1 small box or bar of unexpired candy
1 box or several bags of unexpired tea or hot cocoa bags
1 mini jar of jam/jelly/honey - commercially sealed only
1 holiday ornament
1 handmade item that's useful:) scarves, mittens, bags, needlebooks, dishcloths, aprons, etc 1 new tea/kitchen towel/pot holder/hot mitt 1+ atc or mini work of art (like a zine) made by you
1+ scrapbook quality sticker sheets or 20+ quality loose stickers
2+ new/blank notecards and envies
2+ new packs of seeds
3+ new/blank postcards
3+ unused USPS first class stamps
4+ handmade envies
5+ washi tape samples
5+ PDT labels
10+ kawaii memo sheets or other cute post-its
15+ swap cards
30+ personalized address labels
