Lace Snippet Strip

Good day Ladies,

Let us indulge in a little bit of frippery for our journals. We all have a collection of oddments of fabric, lace, buttons and paper, let us put them to good use and make snippet strips. These pretty little creations may be used whole as a belly band to tuck things behind, or cut up and used as accents on your journal page. Whatever you choose to do with them, they will be a lovely addition to your journal entry.

Details of the swap

For this swap, we shall have one partner whom we will make one lace snippet strip for. Please follow THIS VIDEO for instruction. Your creation does not have to match the video exactly but it should have a lace strip down the middle and be at least 8 inches (20 cm) long and embellished with lace, paper, sequins, beads, buttons or whatever you have at hand. Do not cut the strip, allow your partner to decide if they want to or not. Be creative and enjoy the process making this unique and pretty snippet strip.

When you have completed your lace snippet write a short note to your partner in your character's voice to tuck in with it.
