Music From The Year You Were Born

What was playing on the radio when you came into this world? What Albums were your parents listening to?

I set myself a personal quest a while ago to create a playlist for every year I've been around the sun (and there have been quite a few trips 🤣)

So I thought why not make it into a swap?

Make a playlist of (at least) 10 songs that were all released in the year you were born, no one needs to get upset if mistakes are made on the year of first release but please no covers of songs released when you entered this world, only if the cover version itself was released in the relevant year.

Send it as an email, extra points if you create a playlist on something like Spotify that your partners can listen to. Add YouTube links if you like and maybe a story about yourself, where you were born, tell us a happy childhood memory, share as much, or as little as you want to.

The only requirement of the swap is that you send a list of (at least) 10 songs that were released in the year you were born. Song title and artist. Anything else is an extra and the sender's choice.

As this should be quite simple I think three partners so we can all listen to a nice selection of the amazing music there is out there from across the decades.

Newbies are allowed because I want to grow our group. I will Angel if anyone is let down but let's hope it's not needed.

This is a swap about the music that was out there in the world not the music your swap partners may prefer so open minds please and if it's not something you would normally listen to give it a try, you never know you may discover some new favourites.
