Description:

Hello dear Patrons of mine, it's time for another swap! What you make is completely up to you, but let's try to add some elements of the latest CC Prompt Challenge: * use watercolors, * add a seasonal element and/or * add a doodle!

Here's the swap guidelines in short:

  • We will be making a small penpal project, any type you like as long as it involves crafting and decorating. Think flipbook, envelope flipbook, pocket letter, pocket folio, accordeon folder, matchbook mail, envelope stack... You name it.

  • We will decorate the project in our own style, but keep an eye on your partners profile to see what colours they might like. Make sure it's something you'd love to receive as well.

  • Try to add 1, 2 or 3 elements from the 2nd prompt challenge: more info at the bottom of this post.

  • We will add goodies: washi samples, stickers, die-cuts, tags, project life cards, embellishments, buttons... Anything you might like adding and receiving. Bonus if the goodies are matched to your partner's profile. And include a short letter introducing yourself and the swap, maybe something about your day 😊

  • Decorate the envelope if you like (not all of our post offices accept heavily decorated envelopes as flat mail, keep that in mind) and drop it off before the swap-deadline.

For this swap, I'm thinking we'll use the same weight-guideline as last time for those of us who work with stamps: around 50 grams in total, envelope and all. That should make this swap not too expensive to send, with stamps getting more and more expensive 🙈

Mind you: to avoid difficulties, I'll only accept Patrons who have a fully filled out profile. So that includes a little "personal" section station crafts you like, and styles you'd like to receive. This will make it easier for your partner to get to know you a bit!

As mentioned in the details of this post (at the top), this is an international swap. Meaning you may be sending mail all over the world! 🌷😁 Let me know if there are any questions, and most importantly: have fun!

  • For the CC Prompt challenge: something seasonal doesn't have to be your current season 😉 Personally, I can't draw... So doodling could also be something like cute little wonky circles as accents in the corner, a doodly border, teeny tiny flowers or little stars. Easy! And for watercolors, I'm thinking using mine to make a colorful background (stripes will always look cute in watercolor!) or even to add some colorful accents. If you don't own watercolors, here's an easy hack: grab a piece of plastic (packaging) or glass and a marker or inkpad, and color the plastic or glass in by drawing with the marker or pressing the inkpad down. Pick up the color using a wet paint brush and voila: watercolors!
