Recycle Michigan Postcard

A quick new swap before postage goes up!

For this swap you will have one partner to send one handmade postcard to. The postcard must be made from something local that you would've normally thrown away or put in the recycling bin. Some examples might include junk mail from local businesses, wrappers from edibles local to your area, a receipt, event ticket stubs, dried flower/leaves of plants found in Michigan, etc. The idea is to take things that might otherwise be considered garbage and turn them into a piece of art on a postcard.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

• If your postcard ends up being thicker than a normal postcard, please take it to the post office to make sure the postage on it is correct.

• Your postcard must be uniformly thick and less than 4"x6" in order to be sent using a .27c stamp.

• There is just a little over a week to sign up and I am making the due date May 9th, which is the last day possible to mail items before the rates go up.
