Description:
For World Poetry Day (March 21) send your partner an email with a poem that you like. You can possibly cut and paste from the Internet. Some songs reverberate like poetry on the soul. Some of you may like the 3-line punch of a great haiku. Some of you may prefer the traditional 14 line sonnet; others may like a good limerick. It's a great day to revisit poetry and contemplate the works that you enjoy. I would suggest that you not send your own work because it might disappoint you if there is no response.
