Description:

The best part about moving is that it forces you to go through all of your crafting supplies. Which means it's a perfect time to host a swap :)

For this swap you will have one partner. You will need to fill up a Priority Mail Padded Flat Rate Envelope (flat $10.60 postage) with scrapbooking supplies that you no longer want or need. The envelopes measure 12.5" x 9.5" so stuff 'em full! Please send a variety of things and pack it full! Also, make sure you include a little note with the swap name, and your username. All items should be in good condition. (Please do not send unusable items or trash.)

Please do not join the swap if you are not ready to commit to filling up the envelope. Only swappers with over 10 type 2/3 swaps and no 1/non-sends in the past 6 months. PM me if you would like to join but have a lower rating. This is a swap that can be curated before being sent out. I'm setting the sign up date a few weeks out to allow you to go through your stash and pick through what you don't want anymore.

Ideas:

  • Stickers
  • Patterned Paper
  • Journaling Cards
  • Washi Tape
  • Stamps
  • Journaling Pens/Markers
  • Adhesive (ex: Zots dots)
  • Ephemera
  • Die cuts
  • Flair badges
  • Cardstock
  • Vellum envelopes
  • Alpha stickers
  • Sequins or enamel dots
  • Small ink pads (please tape them shut so they don't open during shipment)

Helpful tips:

  • enclose tiny objects in a small envelope or baggie so they don't get banged around
  • wind washi tape around a playing card for easy swapping

Ratings:

Please DO NOT down-rate down for items that you may not favor! As long as you get a full envelope, please rate that a 5. This is sender's choice. You can always pass along any items you don't like in another swap!

I hope everyone who signs up does so with good intention, but I understand things happen. I will angel if needed. (I think I have enough extra supplies to angel everyone on Swap-bot!)

Discussion

DragonflyDreamer 03/ 4/2024 #

Would a med flat rate box be acceptable to prevent damage to items?

jenirlsrsly 03/ 6/2024 #

@DragonflyDreamer - I chose the flat rate bubble envelope to keep the cost down. The medium flat rate boxes are $18.40. If you want to send yours in a box and pay the extra postage, that's fine.

@DragonflyDreamer - use pirateship.com to buy your postage and you'll save $4. I'm using the same box, because I have a ton of scrapbook paper to pass on and it didn't let the padded envelope close.

I'm stuffing all the little stuff into the padded envelope and placing it inside the bigger box, so it doesn't move around too much and shows I completed the swap even tough the medium flat rate box may be a little less full.
