The TGIF notecard series is a writing swap, and I am emphasizing that by including the “journals” tag… “journals" as in Journaling (Not blank books! This is still a written Notecard swap!)

Tell your partner what exciting or not so exciting things you did this weekend. Did you tackle a big project? Or a little project :) Read a good book? Go out for a party, or a walk, or to the store? Whatever you did, write a note Sunday evening or Monday morning telling all about it.

Your message should be a minimum of a notecard in length, writing on all or most of the blank areas of the card. A notecard is a folded card that goes in an envelope, similar to a greeting card but without the sentiment. You can use stationery instead of a notecard.

Please be aware of the very fast turn around time: Partners are assigned Saturday morning (Swap-Bot time) and your notecard should go out with the Monday mail.

Everyone is Welcome

Newbies: Please fill out your profile, it should be at least a page long. Not-so-perfect Ratings: 1s and 3s are okay, recent and ANY fixable 1s need to be taken care of. All: Please communicate if there's an issue!

Have Fun and Happy Swapping!

Feb 12 is a postal holiday in Korea but I'd still like to join this week. Is that ok?

@knittymarie ... Definitely okay! As an international group, we get to explore all kinds of wonderful holidays! Happy Seollal!!

The post office is closed from February 8th to February 13th here in Taiwan. So I will be mailing out my swap on February 14th (Wednesday). Depending on when I mail it out, the Swap-bot date could say either the 13th or 14th that day. (I temporarily marked my mail as "Sent" because I did finish the letter and envelope, but will redo the "Sent" date once it's in the mailbox.) ~Kiyasu

Whoops, turns out the 14th is also still the holiday. I mailed out my swap today on the 15th (the first day the post office is finally open again), but I dropped it into the mailbox around the pickup time and later turns out I did miss today's pickup time and should have given it directly to the employee at the counter indoors instead.
