Wear it out! (2 of 4)

My grandmother and many others who lived through the Depression followed a household policy of "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without."

This is a themed group swap in four parts. The second part is "Wear it out." Write your partners a letter that follows the theme of "Wear it out." It could be memories of wearing hand-me-downs, tips on how to nurse an elderly car, a tutorial on darning socks, or anything else that you think reasonably fits the theme. Try to save your "Use it up" and "Make it do" ideas for the other weeks in the swap.
