In honor of Earth Day, I'd like for us to swap earth friendly bags. You know the type that you can get to carry your groceries in instead of plastic bags. Now you can even get them at Kohl's, Target, Payless and many more places. You will have two partners. You will need to send one bag to each partner. Try to find something pretty, or unusual. Ex: My local grocery store (HEB) has a pretty bag designed by Eva Longoria. They also have one with wildflowers on it. And yes, you can make one, if you are crafty enough to do so. Just make sure it's big enough and strong enough to carry groceries in. Remember to use your bags when ever you go shopping, not just at the grocery store. Let's keep our planet healthy!!! Such a great idea. Would love to receive that HEB bag, so I'll cross my fingers. Have any of you seen the gorgeous reusable bag Brown's shoes has? It has a huge black high high stiletto on it (I LOVE IT). http://multibag.com/images/browns-shoes-reusable-bag-open.jpg What do you think?? :)

Some super markets here have started to sell these type of bags. I will probably send one of those. I will use any of these types of bags and sometimes I use them as purses! LOL!( I would like any HEB bag because I grew up in Texas and that was the super market we had near us.)

I have seen some wonderful looking bags in the stores and some UGLY ones. I hope that we all send something that we ourselves would like to have.

I love to sew and have made bags for my daughter in laws and girlfriends. And.......I have a stash of material just itching to get made into something that helps the earth.....Carrie L.
