I am a follower of Hekate.

I'm excited about this swap!

Frigg (Frigga) and Freyja (Freya) are the two Goddesses I'm closest to, so I'll let my partner pick which one. Or, if one of the other Norse Goddesses stands out to you, feel free to pick her instead. I'm a follower of Asatru, so all the Norse Goddesses are important to me.

Not sure it'll matter or not, but in case it does, I believe them to all be separate beings. So, the term "The Goddess" doesn't work with my beliefs.

Is Kalika considered a Goddess?

Banchomarba1 04/28/2007 #

I think this is a great idea! I work with Brigid and Cerridwen - Celtic Goddesses. I can't wait to see what is created.

I have a soft spot for Blodeuwedd. Will someone clue me in to The Way of the Matchbook Shrine?

burtonwood 04/29/2007 #

I hope at some point I will have the opportunity to do a similar swap.....still a newbie (ack).

CajunLady 04/29/2007 #

Elizabeth..I would consider Kalika a Goddess.

Athena is My Lady :-) Is a 32-count box a standard matchbox?

I can't wait to get started on this swap! I've been thinking about it and have decided that I really want my partner to do my shrine for the Goddess that she knows/loves/connects to best. If it's the same as mine then it will be great to see how another honors her. If it's one that is less familiar to me then I will be honored and blessed to get a glimpse of her through one who knows her. Betsy

Terrific swap idea, I would like a Hekate shrine.

cerwinrhiannon 05/ 5/2007 #

I'm interested in this swap, but don't know if 13 days would be long enough for me to do a shrine for a Goddess I'm not familiar with.

CajunLady 05/ 6/2007 #

I've changed the last day to send date to May 25th. This will help with any worked someone might need. It will also help me. This will probably be a swap that Swap-Bot sets the partners for. Please see my profile for more info.

OK, that sounds good.

I like Bast.

SharonF 05/ 8/2007 #

This sounds good : I to Cerridwin, she is nature

cerwinrhiannon 05/ 8/2007 #

Are we getting partners soon? I'd like to start my research.

This is my first shrine too, so I want to make sure it's a good one.

SharonF 05/ 9/2007 #

Will someone tell me how to find the matchbook shrines, please? Thank you

SharonF 05/ 9/2007 #

I found it! What I can do with these!

Manifest 05/18/2007 #

Sid Simpson--I sent your shrine yesterday. I hope you enjoy it.

SharonF 05/22/2007 #

CerwinRhiannon, I mailed your gift today!

Banchomarba1 05/23/2007 #

life is attacking! So the shrine I am working on will be a little bit late. I just wanted to be honest about it.

cerwinrhiannon 05/23/2007 #

I can't wait to see it, Sharon!

Mine is almost done. I should mail it out in time.

I received my shrine, Sharon. Thanks-it's cute!

As I said above, this was my first shrine, and I think I screwed up. I used the big big size matchbox. I hope that's OK Shannon. It turned out pretty well, I think. The inside more so than the outside.

It sucks to have ADD (LOL!)I don't always read instructions well.

Shechanges, yours is going out tomorrow in the morning. Sorry for being late. I have no excuse other than poor time management.

I had lots of fun making it! Hope you like it.

Banchomarba1 05/29/2007 #

The Athena Shrine is in the mail!

Funny- June is a sacred month for Athena, so the shrine will arrive on due time.

Sid
