Fountain Pens & Wax Seals

International, 1 partner, Newbie Friendly (if you meet the requirements below)

Time to get fancy! We are going to write a letter (handwritten for this one, 2 pages of 5x8/A5 size paper. 1 side of the sheet = 1 page, 2 sides = 2 pages if the ink does not bleed through! If your ink bleeds through the back of the sheet, use a clean sheet for the next page.) The topic for the letter is sender's choice, but you MUST use a fountain pen for the letter, and you MUST use a wax seal on the envelope. Be sure you have a fountain pen/ink and wax seal BEFORE you sign up for this swap!

When partners are assigned, take a look at their profile (or pull out a letter from a previous swap, if you have one from them) and write them a 2 page letter. Subject of the letter is sender's choice, I'm not giving you prompts to reply to, but be sure the letter is personal and not a form letter type. Wait until partners are assigned before you start your letter, so you know who you are writing to! :)

Decoration of the paper/envelope, color of ink and the image and color of the wax seal is sender's choice - I understand that supplies may be limited! :) But it's always nice to have your partner's likes in mind when you send a swap. Tuck ins/ extras are no required, and be sure to check your partner's profile before sending extras - not everyone likes them.

Keep in mind, this is an INTERNATIONAL swap, so you may need to pay International postage. Only sign up for the swap if you are prepared for that, as well.

Include the swap name and your SB ID with the letter, send on time, and rate when you receive your partner's letter! If you feel that your partner's letter is taking too long to arrive, please contact them, let them know it's not arrived yet. Allow 6-8 weeks for International mail to arrive before you ask for a re-send. I angel all swaps I host, after contact has been made by partners, and a rating of 1 has been given. You need to contact me then.

Who can join?

4.99 rating or above, no late sends on dash. Any 1's to active members should be made up, any 1's or 3's should be clearly addressed (hopefully w/ a date!) for established swappers. No 1's or 3's within the last 6 Months.

New, unrated, swappers may join with a very well filled out profile, no late sends on their dash, and sign in within 2 days of signup for the swap. If you haven't signed in, you'll get banned.

Well filled out profile - I should need to scroll down to read your profile (not including ratings) (Pictures don't count for content - explain your likes/dislikes/hobbies) Especially for new swappers, fill out your profile! List likes, dislikes, collections, hobbies, interests - things like that so your partner knows who they are swapping with. If you aren't comfortable doing this, then don't join the swap - I will ban you if your profile is not filled out. Keep in mind this is a profile, not a journal - you don't need to do daily updates!

No issues on flakers/double profilers/ questionable swapper groups, pages or threads in PF.
