About the Word: The oval berries of the European bittersweet plant taste first sweetish, and then bitter. But it was the American plant called "false bittersweet," with its orangey-colored fruits, that inspired the color name bittersweet.

Let's make the next in our series of Ink Box cards featuring the color bittersweet. As you recall, an ink box card measures 3" by 3" with rounded corners (the same shape and size as a Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad. The predominant color should be bittersweet but you are free to add secondary colors as you wish.
