International Recipe Exchange for May 2009

I came up with this idea for a swap in March - and thought it might be a fun thing to do monthly! Here are the details...

I love tasting foods from different places, don't you?

For this exchange, we will be sending our swap partners 1 recipe of our choice. It can be something from your local area (which is Philadelphia for me) or something maybe from your family's heritage (I'm Irish/English but maybe I'd include an Italian recipe of my husband's).

This recipe should be detailed, with a proper list of the right ingredients and amounts, etc. and should include substitutes (in case someone in America doesn't have access to some foreign spice or such).

For a heart, write a little paragraph about why you picked this recipe and what you like about this dish. This is an easy swap, have fun! :)
