Hello beautiful Australasian swap pals!!! I'm hosting another type3 because I want something to do in bits and pieces in the evenings over the next month or so as my chronic pain is keeping me awake at night - I really hope that everyone else is doing better than I am 💖💖💖 Sorry for the long swap name 😳😅

The idea is to surprise our partner with a mystery theme to our mail, which is INSPIRED BY their profile. Try not to go for a really obvious theme, for example if they specifically say 'my favourite thing in the world is hello kitty' and have 6 hello kitty gifs on their profile and you make them hello kitty mail I'm sure they will love it but it's not really a SURPRISE!

This is a 2-stamp MAXIMUM swap, so the expectation is 40-100g and an absolute maximum envelope size of: 260 x 360 x 20mm

Try to strike a balance with what they will like and what they may not expect. Ultimately it is a sender's choice swap not a 'profile likes ONLY' swap, so rate based on how thoughtful and accurate to the requirements it is, not whether you received your wishlist items please ☺️

As this is a THEMED HAPPYMAIL swap, there is an expectation that everything (except optional 'extras') will match the theme you picked in some way.

Themes can be a colour palette, time period/era (eg 1970s, or 1800s), subculture (eg goth, or decora), concept (eg. Space, or garden party), or media (eg. Tv show, snoopy, disney, etc), or anything else you truly think will SURPRISE and DELIGHT your partner based on their profile.

Requirements:

• Envelope decorated to imply the theme you have chosen
• Main display component of the happymail (homemade) such as a paper dashboard, flipbook, card (3+ panels ideally), loaded tag or pocket tag, postcard pocket, etc. which will be showcasing the theme
• Minimum a5 page of letter which includes the theme you selected, one or two sentences on why you picked it, the swap name, and your username
• Minimum of 4 things that relate to the theme, for example if your theme is Vintage Botanicals your 4 things could be: 1 ATC collage of flowers and your best 'aged paper' techniques, + 1 bundle of 4-6 large washi stickers of vintage style plant illustrations, + 1 decorated envelope filled with a mixture of blank and used postcards with botanical themes, + 1 bundle of old vintage book pages with some floral stamps or images throughout, = 4 total groups of things. Message me for different examples if you need more ideas. Pick from the types of things in your partners profile likes for inspiration!!
• OPTIONAL EXTRAS need to be in a seperate section clearly marked 'extras' or 'gifts' and should only be profile based/wishlist goodies, NOT a destash. They cannot be so numerous as to bring your total package weight over the 120g '2 stamp' limit, and they cannot affect your rating.

Everyone is busy and exhausted after a few years of global and personal chaos, and there is a fair bit of thought and effort required for this swap, so it will have a long prep time between sign up and send by dates. If you are too impatient for that I do completely understand, and this won't be the swap for you unfortunately.
