This is cool!

I hate when people ask questions like this in a swap, but does it have to be this technique specifically or can it be any faux leather technique? I'm asking because I normally use brown paper bags as faux leather.

@cherrrythepig I only discovered this tutorial a couple of weeks ago, so I haven't experimented with other papers or tapes.

So as far as I'm concerned you can use brown paper bags :-)

I'll try anything once (wait maybe not anything).

alphenstamp - is your flickr atc also covered in clear embossing powder as the tutorial suggests? I remember doing this in summer camp as a kid - except we covered small coke bottles and colored the masking tape with shoe polish!!!

Hi happypup, my ATC on Flickr is made with brown paper from paper bags as cherrythepig asked here on the swappage. It is covered with clear embossing powder, but if you want to do it with shoe polish: be my guest! :-)
