it's been awhile since I've hosted a swap, but I did this swap years ago and it had a good amount of participation. The swap also was featured in Rachel's blog which really made me happy. I'm hoping it will have a good turnout this time, If it does then I will try to do more in the future. I love collecting recipes, don't you? For this swap you will be required to answer the questions listed below by using a recipe. You will also need to send a note with the recipes explaining your choices. You will have 2 partners, so each partner will get atleast 3 recipes. I will angel this swap if needed, but hopefully we won't have any flakers. No recent 1's or 3's with out a good reason. Also if you have any ones that haven't been corrected to current swapbotters, PM me if you have any, but can explain them reasonably. Unrated, newbies welcome. Atleast a 4.8 rating required for everyone else. You may use recipe cards or prettied up index cards. Only one recipe is required per question, but you can always send more as long as the recipes relate to the question being asked. If you have any questions, please ask. Also you can use words like Dash and pinch, but if you do, please give a brief description of the meaning because a Dash to some might not be the same as your Dash. Please decorate your envelope. I'm not an artist, but I make an attempt to make my envelope look better. Anything extra that you choose to send is completely up to you and is not a requirement.

3 questions = 3 recipes for each of your partners

A note explaining your choices.

Decorate your envelope to make your partners smile before it's even opened.

  1. What recipes stirs up a memory from your childhood

  2. Where are you from? (eg.you can do something like Georgia: main crop peaches : recipe for something with peaches in it or Louisiana = cajun food)

  3. What is your favorite color? (eg.recipes might be RED velvet cake or recipe for cooking PURPLE hull peas)

Hopefully this will be a successful swap because I have many more questions.

Have some fun with this

Keep Smiling and Keep Swapping!

Thanks for reading my swap info.

It's been so long since I've hosted a swap that now I am questioning certain aspects of my swap. I would like some advice. Do you think that I should add another week for sign up and another week to send out? If you have any other ideas or something that might be holding you back from entering please let me know and maybe we can figure out a solution. I am screening participants as they signed up and one person has already been banned from the swap.

Handwriting 6 recipes would take me sum time. Plus you first have to play the game and choose your recipes and find the right ones. I'd give another week to send, just my opinion and noone answered yet so I thought I should try to help....
