Description:

You will handcraft a 10.5X10.5" quilt block from your partners list of favorite colors. Senders have choice of pattern for the block, but please do something other than an easy nine patch to make it fun. You can combine as many of their favorite colors as you like. The finished quilted block will measure 10X10 when sewn into the quilt. You will have one (1) partner so let's make this a fun swap. Let's also do our best to make a quality block, there's nothing worse than getting something that no thought was put in to. Please email with any questions you might have and save the space below for listing your desired colors or make sure to have them listed in your profile. Please use quality cotton fabric.

I love pinks, black and white combo's, blues, and love florals of any color. I also like vintage prints like feedsack prints.

Hi, yep it's a good idea to name favorite colors now. Although my favorite color is red, it's not as practical in my home color scheme. So maybe neutral colors like shades of brown & gold with a touch of red. The design & quality of work is really more important to me.

Hi ya' all, that's Kansas talk, and what's the quickest way to pass this swap on the my fellow quilt club members? And I have loads of Christmas theme fabric to try designing a block with. I better get on the stick and join up. L8r.

Hi Ladies, I hope you're all getting excited about starting to make your quilt blocks for your partners. Just a few more days until partners are assigned. It will be a lot of fun and I hope that everyone will give it their best effort so we can be known as a High Class Group of Quilting Newbies! Remember to check your partners profiles for likes and dislikes etc. and make something you'd enjoy receiving too!
