Description:

THIS IS A NOTECARD SWAP

I love letters but I admit that I am not the best at the follow-up part of pen-palling. So this is just a simple letter-writing swap! No obligation or expectations to write back.

You will have a starting word or phrase to begin your letter. Where you end up is up to you! Let the words flow. Your topics will change as you pen your thoughts to your partner. This should not be your typical "Hello how are you I am well" letter. Skip the pleasantries. You don't need to introduce yourself.

THIS ROUNDS START POINT IS

+++++++++++ RAIN +++++++++++

--> Please start your letters first sentence with the prompt for this round.

!!! EXAMPLE BELOW. !!!

MORE:

  • Please use a blank inside notecard and write as much as you can. Fill the card.

  • DO NOT write large just to take up space. Please think like you're writing on lined paper.

  • You can continue your writing onto paper if you'd like once you fill the notecard, but you do not have to.

  • Tuck-ins are not necessary.

  • Please use store-bought or well-done handmade notecards that are at least 4x5 when folded ( or 5x4. whatever)

  • You will have 1 partner.

  • Do not forget to include your swap-bot ID and the name of the swap

  • Please send it by the assigned date.

EXAMPLE:

fake prompt: my tv

Letter example: " Jane, my TV needs to be moved. It's in such a terrible place but there really isn't another good option in this room. These windows are most of the wall. The sun glaring off the screen is so annoying sometimes. However, it's really nice that the sun is out again. I can't wait for it to be warm. I can garden! I have a small one on the side of my house and I'm excited to get it up and running again. It always brings so many cute little bees. Buzzing around with their fuzzy little bodies. Bumping into things. All the things actually. They always look like they're having a great day. I hope you have one too! -mermaidery"
