Swap a Print - New & Experienced Welcome

I did a search and it seems like there have sadly been very few swaps in this category over the years!

I finally had time to get into printmaking during pandemic times and while I still have a lot to learn, I've really fallen in love with the medium.

So, let's make some prints! New and experienced printmakers are welcome, so keep that in mind when you sign up. I like encouraging all experience levels and people who are interested in trying new things! I think this is a fun medium and want to make this low-pressure - just do your best! We'll keep it to one print and on the smaller side, let's say 5x7 or smaller. Your carving can be done on lino, rubber, etc - artist's choice. Feel free to print on paper or fabric. Ink type is also the artist's choice.

Theme/style is the artist's choice - as simple or as complicated as you're comfortable carving. :) Just put love and effort into your work!

If you're brand new and need printmaking supplies, I highly recommend the Speedball Water-Based Block Printing Starter Set. It is about $24 and comes with all the essentials you need to get started.

I'm going to leave a longer sign-up time and send-by date to ensure there's enough time to gather your supplies and have fun carving! Be sure to package your print between pieces of cardboard or another sturdy method of packaging so it stays flat and safe during its travels. I will angel if necessary.
