Thank you to Blueberry Lady for allowing me to make an international version of a USA-only swap she's hosting in another group, and wolfeagle for making me an officer so I could host this swap here! We all have lots of bits of paper left from scrapbooking, magazines, old calendars, etc. Lets create a picture of an object using up our paper scraps. These videos may be helpful. YouTube video Second YouTube video Third YouTube video Size: No smaller than 4" by 6". As big as you like, but be aware of postage costs. Materials needed: Scraps of scrapbooking papers or other papers. Glue stick, Sturdy cardboard or cardstock, scissors. No piece of cut paper should be larger than 1 inch. The entire surface should be covered, with the only white showing being the space between your mosaic 'tiles'. You can work with square tiles or free-form tiles. Include a short note about why you chose the subject you did It's up to you whether you want to make a postcard to send naked through the mails or a picture to send in an envelope. Sign the back of the picture or postcard with the name of the swap, your Swap-bot name, the date and your real name. You might find it worth weighting it down overnight with a couple of heavy books before sending it off, just to make sure it stays flat. |
