Swap details:

  • One partner, one decorated envelope. The theme is Nocturnal Animals (bats, opossums, porcupines, etc.). Since this is a Type-3 swap, and some people may wish to create theirs in advance, it is Sender's choice. Note: if you are a person who intensely dislikes bats or owls, this swap may not be for you, but please feel free to create your own swap.

  • Also, because this is a Type-3 swap, please spend the time on your mail art to make it something you'd be happy to receive. Typically, decorated envie swaps ask for at least one side of the envelope to be decorated (with a cleared space for the receiver's address); sticker-slapping alone probably won't be enough. You can decorate your envelope any manner you wish, but keep in mind it will need to be sturdy enough to go through the mail--envelopes made from thinner papers like magazines and some craft papers will often come apart in the machines. Recipients, I'm sure I don't need to remind you, but please be understanding of different levels of artistic ability :)

  • Include a friendly note with your username and the name of the swap. Extras are nice but not needed, though if you find something you think your partner might like, you may as well tuck it in there! Please don't treat this as a de-stash unless your partner's profile indicates that they would like this, and please try to avoid including any obvious dislikes.

ABCUSA group rules apply (review 2022 Rules/Guidelines here); please DM me with questions/concerns, or if you have issues with your partner that you have been unable to resolve. Thanks and happy swapping!
