Deco: One-sheet folded booklet-style USA/CAN

1 pocket-size deco made from one-sheet of paper for one partner. USA/Canada

New or established origami pamphlet style deco.

Use an 8.5 X 11-inch piece of paper. A theme or open-theme, sender's choice. Decorate the front and back pages (covers). Include the swap name, your email address, your mailing address on the back cover so your zine can be returned to you when complete. Or just your email and a note to email you for your current mailing address.

Keep the embellishments slim so participants can use regular lettermail postage.

There will be 6 pages for contributors to fill.

What is a deco?

A deco is a handmade bound book of a few pages which are sent around the world. The person that the book is “for” is usually listed on the cover and when the book becomes full it is sent back to them. Each person that receives and signs the deco will decorate one page according to the theme of the booklet (if there is one) and put their postal/email address and sign their name. Typically, each entrant in the “deco” must use one full page to express themselves.
