This is another e-mail swap, and about music. I don't know about you, but some songs remind me of certain things, some songs make me happy, some songs make me cry, some songs make me sing at the top of my lungs, etc... Well, I want to know which songs play with your mood. So, in this swap, you'll have FIVE partners and you will send them a list with: 1 - A song that makes you want to dance. 2 - A song that makes you laugh. 3 - A song that reminds you of an old friend. 4 - A song that makes you sing out loud. 5 - A song that makes you cry. 6 - A song that reminds you of a book. 7 - A song that reminds you of another. 8 - A song that reminds you of your dear one. 9 - A song that makes you want to learn how to play an intrument. 10 - A song that has taught you something. This is it. Do you want a heart? Add five more "A song that makes you..." and answer them. Everyone can participate in this swap. Don't flake your partners (if you really have to, let them and me know so I can angel) and, newbies, join in as well. Let's just have fun with this swap!

Is this really an international swap? I doubt very much many of the guys and gurls here will know non-us songs...

Yes, it is international, as I am not from the US ;-). Personally, I will try to think of songs or artists that most people know. If you (or me or anyone else) can't think of a popular song for a "category", you can tell something about the song you chose, or explain why you chose it. I think it will be interesting to know new music.

Just so I am clear about the rules, would we be uploading a zip file of a 'mix CD' that contains the actual MP3 songs from our list to a site like sendspace.com for our partner to download, or is this just a list of songs, but not sending the actual songs? I would totally join if it was for a zip file that contains the actual songs!

is this a youtube type thing? I dont' know how to zip files so I'm not sure how I would do this one and I would love to do this one!

My idea was a simple list of songs, but if you want to send mp3 or add youtube links, it's perfectly fine with me. :-)

This sounds really fun! Definitely joining. I think I'll just include youtube links for mine.

For anyone who gets me... most of the song choices will mostly be Asian music since I don't know many American artists, sorry. (x_x);

In mine have a song in portuguese and another in italian. So I think is important the sound file. You tube is easy!

By the way, I'm looking forward to learning about new songs I haven't heard, especially non-US songs! So I think it's cool that this is international.
