Exquisite Corpse is a surrealist art game where different people draw different body parts and they come together to create one wacky creature! Throughout history this form of art has had many renditions and is even played in grade school art classes! I will be hosting THREE swaps so we can all get a head, body and legs. Each swap will call for an ATC in standard size which is 3.5 x 2.5 inches. We will be creating in LANDSCAPE format, so we have a wider canvas to create on. After all three swaps the ATCS should stack to form your exquisite corpse! This swap is 3 out of 3 for this series and will focus on LEGS. This is everything below the waist! Hips, legs, butt, feet, shoes, tail, grass, ground. (Please keep the private bits covered if you do include them!) You should have a background/a fully covered card but the legs should be the main focus. You may create in any theme or format you like but please put time into this. Feel free to make your creature human, animal, alien or anything you can imagine! You can use mediums including but not limited to - paint, marker, paper, fabric, stickers, beads, stitching, embellishments, clay,...the list goes on! Two weeks to create after sign up but there's no reason not to start now. I plan to host each swap back to back so we can see our monsters FINISHED! I highly recommend looking at photos online as there is so much inspiration in new and old formats alike. Let me know if you have any questions. Please comment below if you have interest in doing this again! I will gladly host another run of the 3 part series as long as at least 3 people are interested in joining. |
