A Hand Sewn Nightcap

Dear Ladies,

Charles has left his nightcap in town and has asked me to make him another. With the cold weather creeping in upon us, a nightcap is one of those indispensable items. I thought perhaps we could all make a nightcap for the man in our lives, whether it is a husband, son, father or son-in-law. Tis a simple pattern and can be made easily from an old sheet or pillow case.

Let us stitch our nightcaps for this swap. Here is a good method to use:

You may use a plain fabric, or one printed with a pattern, whatever suits you, or I should say, your man. A tassel at the top is fashionable or you may leave your cap without that adornment. Once you have finished your nightcap, send a photo via email to your assigned partner and a little hello from you.
