PROFILE-BASED Happymail - your new best friend

This is a fun one you guys! Inspired by paper dolls and the 2D paper rooms I made for them as a kid, I want us to do a creative character swap!! Don't be intimidated by the writing component, I know you'll get some inspiration when you look through the beautiful little girl stickers and character images in your collection with a fresh eye 😊

Why not give it a go, and you might end up with the cutest little fictional-friend!

Instructions

• FIRSTLY, read your partner's entire profile and think about their likes and their personality. Imagine the kind of person (or magical creature!) that they could be best friends with
• then, look through your collection of character stickers, photos, illustrations, cards, etc and select a person (or fairy/mermaid/etc - humanoid only) to be the new best friend of your partner
• write a list of attributes that this 'person' (the character image you've selected) has, perhaps a few lines of story about their life and what makes them a good friend
• make a card or other fold-out craft for the character to 'live in' and decorate it according to their tastes (that you have made up!) You could even include stickers or cut outs of some of their possessions
• next, fill a miniature envelope or pocket with gifts for them to give to their new best friend (your swap partner) such as stickers, ephemera, drawings, recipes, beads, etc
• write a note to your partner and include your username and the swap name as well as the name you have given the character

• finally, decorate the outside of the mailing envelope however you wish, just to make it exciting and cheerful to open the mailbox

• no flakers
• no damaged or junky items
• including extras is welcome unless your partner's profile says no extras
• no recent 1s or 3s
• aim for one-stamp postage (flat envelope) and if you exceed that, do not rate down if your partner doesn't go 'overboard' just because you were extra generous
• the craft component does not need to be something you spend all day or all week on, crafts should be well prepared and thoughtful, and designed to spark joy in your partner REGARDLESS of skill level
• have fun and look after yourself, stay safe, and don't panic!
