ZMACS: Hand Carved Zine

No, it's not a zine that is sculpted, but a zine of YOUR hand-carved images.

I recently carved a couple of stamps for a couple of zines, and I thought it would be fun to create a zine comprised only of hand-carved stamps.

Not necessarily all newly carved for this zine (however, over-achievers, go for it!), but more like a showcase of the work you've done and would like to share.

There will be many in the group who have never carved a stamp before. That's OK! But you'll have to do it for this swap. Your stamps can be as simple or elaborate as you like. It's not that hard and it's very rewarding. You just might surprise yourself!

And I won't require a different image for every page. You might carve only one stamp and print it in different ways on each page. Or use two images to illustrate some text. Zines have always been a very loose, democratic, personal, form of self-expression, so the only hard and fast requirement is that any image(s) in the zine be hand-carved by YOU, you awesome creator, you.

Since they are easily reproducible and cheap to mail (and because I want to see lots of your work) there will be five partners for this swap.

And because this might be brand new to some participants, I'll give plenty of time to complete the swap. Although, by its nature, you could begin it immediately.
