Trick or Treat 2021

HOORAY FOR HALLOWEEN!

With redditgifts going away, I'm hosting this swap in honor of the awesome r/secretsanta exchanges they held. It was a Halloween tradition of mine (and Christmas, too) that I'll miss. But here on Swap-bot we can have it live on!

Halloween will no doubt be a little different again this year, but the season is too fun to skip.

Let's take the opportunity to indulge our imaginations and live the fantasy of all things spooky, creepy, cute and more! Keep the spirit alive and celebrate Halloween with your new internet stranger friends!

The minimum gift value is $20, before shipping costs. If you choose, your gift can be of a higher monetary value, but know that is up to you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE SENDING

In true Secret Santa style, it's sender's choice! Please review your one (1) partner's profile and mail them something you think they'll love to help them celebrate this spooky time of year. The gift(s) you share must:

• Be at least $20 in value
• Include a Halloween-themed item in some way
• Include a note/card/gift receipt—something where you can have the swap name and your username

QUICK GIFT EXAMPLE

For my last reddit Halloween swap (2020), I sent a DVD of the Beetlejuice movie, some popcorn and a soft, plush Beetlejuice-themed blanket (black and white stripes) so my partner could have a cozy night in to celebrate during the pandemic. My partner also had a blank profile, so I was shopping blind. Let's make sure we don't do that here in Swap-bot-land! The gift I received was a giant box stuffed full of fun-size candy of all varieties. (A truly awesome trick-or-treat in the mail!)

THE FINE PRINT OF PARTICIPATING

1.) As this is a gift-giving swap, please make sure you have a fully filled out profile. If you're able to create a wish list or two, it's encouraged you include those on your profile.

2.) This swap is open to U.S. swappers (shipping costs are a little steep for me to do international) who have a 4.98 rate or better, with at least 10 Type 3 swaps or 20+ Type 2 swaps.

3.) I will drop folks that I feel may be problematic; who don't have a filled-out profile; or who have recent/unexplained 3 or 1 ratings.
