Pennsylvania Neighborhood Letter Swap

This is a swap for people living in or have lived previously in the state of Pennsylvania.

I'm a proud Pennsylvanian and am fascinated by how many counties, townships, boroughs, villages, etc we have. I've been watching the "Neighborhoods" series by Dean Bog on YouTube and that's what inspired this swap. Take a moment to check out his videos! Work keeps me from traveling as much as I'd like, but I want to know more about the Neighborhoods, communities, and people of our awesome state!

For this swap, send your partner a minimum one page letter introducing your town and county. Some writing prompts for your letter might be: How long have you lived there?

What makes your town special?

What are some things you recommend a person check out if they were to travel there, and why?

What's one of your town's well kept secrets?

What are some local history or lore about your town?

Where in Pennsylvania is on your bucket list to visit?

Please refrain from religious and political topics in your letter. If you would like to include a flat memento from your town that'll fit in the envelope with your letter that is fine, but completely optional and shouldn't be expected.

Only swappers with a 4.9 or higher rating are eligible. Newbies with well filled out profiles may participate if you send me a message first asking to participate.
