I can understand email swaps not counting, but postcards? Not even handmade ones?

The reason that I usually disallow postcard swaps, too, is that there have been many times where someone joins Swap-bot, completes a handful of free/very inexpensive swaps like postcards & email swaps, then joins a bunch of higher effort/more expensive swaps and flakes on them. This is something that has happened many times, not just once or twice.

I am not saying that handmade postcards are low effort and I am also aware that it can be expensive to mail a postcard internationally, but if I say, "Okay, handmade postcards are acceptable," then people will want me to make exceptions for altered postcards, too, and so on and so on. I have to start the requirements somewhere. Excluding email and postcards swaps is a rather common practice. I am not accusing anyone personally of this or trying to be unfair to anyone. I am just trying to protect the people who sign up for my swaps.
