Wedding Announcement for Jenny and Alexander

Dear Ladies.

Let us mark Jenny and Major Venning’s marriage by making a lovely card for our journals. We’ll have one partner for this swap and we will make a card which is no smaller than 3 x 5 inches and no larger than 4 x 6 inches in size, to announce the marriage. Decorate in keeping with our era and write a note in character giving your impression of the ceremony. Jenny’s favourite colour is pink, so why not incorporate that into your card?

The details for the card are: Jenny Wrey daughter of Mrs. Charlotte Wrey and the late Jonathan Wrey of Bexford and Major Alexander Venning, son of Joseph and Margaret Venning of Quigley. Married on Sunday, February 21st, 1794 at St. Hildegard’s Church, Amberleigh.

I’ve tried to keep this swap simple so that postage is not an issue, but you may decorate as ornately as you like.
