If you're like me, you spend about 30 hours a week on youtube. Lets put some of that down time towards making something nice for someone! For this swap, you'll go to your partner's page and make a list of videos based on their interests. They should be fun, cool, interesting or relaxing to watch and each one should be made from your own search results and not things you found in the algorithm (so your recipient can rabbit hole on their own!). Crafting videos, nature and animal videos, old cartoons, ect. If you have something you like specificlly or dislike specifically in regards to youtube content (content aimed at kids or content with adult language) go ahead and leave a comment on the swap to let everyone know~! This list should be made of the short 'share' links OR a special playlist (you can delete it after the swap if you want) Send to your partner's PMs or email and put spaces between your links in case your partner has to copy-paste Try to keep your ALL combined content to between 30 and 120 minutes of total watch time Try to include at least 5 different videos Lets give each other some bespoke downtime!

I like independent animators who share their student films or commercial work to youtube. I also love animated music videos, trippy visuals ect. and I'm down to watch any craft or art video, how things are made, tools and survival, ANYTHING. I like found footage and VHS tape content and old youtube videos from the early 2000s meme era. all memes, vine and tiktoks.

Only hard nos i have is makeup tutorials and people who vlog and just fill the time with fluff of little consequence.

Me too!

Ok but to be honest I dont like long youtube videos, 30 minutes is way over my limit. 20 minutes seems long. I like Craft videos so if they just chatter and don't teach me something new at a reasonable pace, I skip forward.

I don't like heavily love videos. And I am not a fan of videos that use Cliffhangers or titles that are misleading so they can get more people to watch it (Like: MY CAT DIED and then you find out it nearly died but survived it all). And nothing scary please. Not a big fan of that. Thank you.

@AZ mom yes! you can have as few as 5 videos or as many as 120, but the total watch time shouldn't be more than 120 minutes.

example: you could have 6 videos of 5 minutes long each and have a 30min long playlist. : >

or 120 one-minute long videos.

the point is to give someone 30 total minutes at least of fun but not for them to spend more time watching it than they'd spend on a full length motion picture.
