Description:

Were you born in March? This swap is for you!

Before we get started, I'm trying to revive an old group called Born in March and I'd love it if you birthday bandits would hop on over there and join the fun. :) Meanwhile, back at the farm ...

Happy birthday to all of us who were born in this fabulous winter-spring combo month, also the month of St. Patrick's Day, the first day of spring, and sometimes even Easter.

Important Instructions

  1. Send two (2) store bought birthday cards, one card each to two (2) swap partners. Please write a little handwritten greeting inside the card. (Doesn't need to be much, but writing something in the card IS required.)

  2. Choose new, store bought (or bought online) cards, NOT handmade, NOT used, NOT old. (It also cannot be a postcard. It must be a greeting card in an envelope, and it must be birthday-specific. It can be blank, but something about it MUST specify or very obviously imply a birthday.)

  3. Be sure to pop the cards in the mail before or on the deadline date!

  4. When you receive your cards, rate your partners asap!

Notes & Tidbits

  1. This swap is for MARCH birthdays only.

  2. This is the USA-only version. (Look for the global version if you live elsewhere, or want to send & receive internationally!)

  3. Rating requirement = 4.9626 (It will always be what my SB rating is on the day that I create the swap.)

  4. No recent unexplained 3's, no unresolved 3's at the TOP of your profile / since you were last active. (This rule is because I've skimmed through a bunch of profiles in this group and seen several who have a LOT of unresolved 1's and 3's from around 2016, when they were last active. Trying to prevent any of these lurkers from returning to and continuing with bad behavior...)

  5. Unrated swappers allowed. Newbies--make sure you read ALL the instructions and follow up. I can angle, but please DON'T MAKE ME!

  6. I reserve the right to screen swappers and ban those whom I am not comfortable swapping with.

  7. Where necessary, I will angel on the card swaps. Remember to bear in mind that MAIL IS SLOW right now, so please give extra time for these guys to wing their way to you ... Especially any international cards. (There will be a USA-only and an international version of the swap!)

  8. Cards are the only required thing to send, but if you WISH to send extra flat surprises, you are welcome to do so.

  9. Please remember to include your Swap-Bot username somewhere on the envelope or inside the card (better yet, both!) so that your partner has no issues identifying the swap or sender, and can rate asap.

  10. RATE WHEN YOU RECEIVE - Some may choose to save their cards until their birthday rolls around, or at least until March hits. Whether you open the card when you receive it or not, please still rate your partner. (You can always rerate later if, for some insane reason, you were to, say, receive a 4th of July card or your partner wrote nothing inside.)

Recap

  • Get 2 bday cards, write inside, send to your partners.
  • Send the cards off on time. (By March 20)
  • Include swap name/ username.
  • Rate promptly & accordingly!
