Description: | |
For this swap, you will either… A) make a new pass and paste postcard or B) send an established postcard. Option A: Cut a rectangular postcard from cardstock or paperboard postcard that is:
Divide the “picture” side into sections (each swapper will decorate a section). I recommend four sections, but that is not a requirement. On the address side, write the address to where the postcard will be sent once all sections are decorated. Also, leave space on the left-hand side of the address for swappers to write a brief note each round.  Decorate one section yourself, then mail it in an envelope addressed to your partner. Note: Do not include postage because the last person sending it home may not be from the same country as you! When you receive a new postcard from your partner, see if it only has one section remaining. If it does, decorate it and send it home to its creator. If it has more than one section remaining, decorate a section and wait for a future swap to assign you a partner. Option B: Decorate and send a pass and paste postcard that someone else created to your swap partner. Check that the postcard hasn’t yet been decorated and signed by your partner. Mail it in an envelope addressed to your partner. Note: If you have decorated the last section of a postcard, you cannot use it for this swap, as your partner will have nothing to decorate! You should send it home to its creator. When you receive a new postcard from your partner, see if it only has one section remaining. If it does, decorate it and send it home to its creator. If it has more than one section remaining, decorate a section and wait for a future swap to assign you a partner. I will angel, but I hope it will not be necessary. |
