TPC: Yule Gift Swap

Welcome to the TPC: Yule Gift Swap! One of the ways of celebrating Yule is by sharing gifts, so for this swap, you will be buying your partner a gift from their Etsy!

You will order a Yule gift - witchy or otherwise - for your partner based on their swap-bot profile's likes/dislikes or Etsy wish list.

Create a wish list on Etsy of at least five items that do not exceed $20 after shipping - again, witchy or otherwise - you would like to receive.

It's encouraged that you add items from shops in your or neighbouring countries to keep postage costs down. When you’re looking for items, you can filter the results by country/region, too - both when creating your wish list, and when looking for something for your partner.

Add your wish list to your Swap Bot profile (when linking your wishlist to Swap Bot, make sure it starts http:// and not https:// as Swap Bot is buggy and doesn't like the S).

When you purchase your gift, you will enter your partner’s address as the shipping address, which you will receive via Swap Bot once the partners have been assigned.  

Please add a gift note to your purchase including your swap-bot username and the name of this swap. In the cart, there will be an option “This order is a gift”. After you check it, another 1-2 options will pop up (depending on that the seller offers, “Add gift message for free” and “Add gift wrapping for $XY”). If the seller doesn’t offer gift notes, please kindly ask them to add a note for your partner to mention who it is from in the “Add a note to seller (optional)” area.

Requirements

• Create an Etsy Yule Wish List and add it to your Swap Bot profile.
• Please add at least 2 paragraphs (each 5-7 sentences) about yourself to your Swap Bot profile if you haven't already. This is important as it will help your partner to choose a gift they think you will like.
• Buy your partner a gift from Etsy that does not exceed $20 after shipping, and have it shipped to them directly.
• Include a gift note with the title of this swap and your swapbot username during the checkout process. 
• You have 4 days to choose and purchase a gift for your partner. This is a quick turnaround in the hopes that your gift will arrive in time for Yule, what with December posting delays.
• Rating: Please make sure to promptly rate your partner a 5 if their swap meets the requirements as stated above. You must leave a note with your rating! No blank ratings! If there are any problems, please reach out to your partner before rating a 3 or even 1. You can, of course, give hearts to your discretion.
