@certifiedscrapaholic hosted a Steampunk ATC swap a few months ago, which I somehow managed to miss, and I have her permission to host this one. I'd been meaning to do this for a while. Steampunk ATCs! For this swap you will have two partners and you will send send one card to each partner for a total of 2 cards. These cards will be Steampunk themed. If you're not sure what steampunk is, the best way to get a feel for it is to do a google image search. Think of what someone in the Victorian era would've thought the future would be like--airship filled skies, fantastic gagets running on steam and clockwork. This is one of my favourite steampunk items: steampunk laptop So a Steampunk ATC might have some Victorian elements, some more modern ones, some technological. Have fun with this. People define "steampunk" for themselves to a certain extent, so don't get too nitpicky about it. Take the aesthetic and run with it! Ratings of 4.5 or higher please, with explanations for 1s. Newbies welcome with a completely filled out profile (look at other people's profiles for an idea of what that means.) Spend time on your card and send something you would like to receive.

funny, i was searching for a steampunk themed swap last night and nothing came up. you must be on the same thoughlink. i found a clock/time themed one that was close...the concept of clockpunk being a subset of steampunk...la la la....now for my victorian lady-bots driven by steam engine brains....

I'd been wanting to make a steampunk ATC swap since I signed up for this site, but kept putting it off for various reasons, most recently because I had to finish my set of 10 steampunk themed cards for the swap on the steampunk forums at brassgoggles.co.uk. But now that that's done and I have a couple extra steamy cards, it's time ^_^ I really hope this one goes well!

Darn--I like having my cards done before I sign up for a swap and I didn't get 'em done in time to sign up for the steampunk self portrait swap--Which is lucky for you guys, it means my partners will each get an extra card from me lol.

I'm really looking forward to this swap--The 3 swappers who I've gotten my top 3 best swap packages ever from are all in this swap! I'm sure their partners will be Very pleased. I hope people photograph their ATCs because I want to see what everyone makes for this!
