Hi Candigirl :) Go with whatever's your style ,the aim is a story that makes your partner go mmmmmmmmmmmmm, let your imagination run wild , if it does it for you ,put it down on paper! just check the comment section for any dislikes and go from there :)

Also it has been known for under 18's to get on the site so I apologise in advance but I'll go with my gut feelings and any newbies that appear as if they MIGHT be underage will be banned for obvious reasons.

It will be good for me to get some more ideas on paper (or uhh in type) I'd have to agree with @crochetjunkie and say that male on male isn't very arousing for me personally. ooh and if i am supposed to post "dislikes" really everything ok is, i totally understand the wide range of space that leaves available to the writers, but i think the element of suprise in swapping is also part of the experience...so go for it!

I like the ONE typed page you suggested - do you think you could make it a maximum as well as a minimum limit? It'll give me safe borders within which to work. hi all, so i guess with ernas request i feel i must say this..

i dont mind the one page a4 type estimate, i want to ask though..could it be an erotic vingette? meaning just a snapshot.or does it have to be a fully written short stroy with plot, etc...

and i will not be able to send back a story via normal snail mail, i could however do it via e mail BUT i really am not wanting a critique of my story..i feel this, for me anyay is really about fun and expression...

i suppose i would be willing to critique it for my partner but not as a requirement of the swap, simply because as i said i really havent the time for that, said with all good intentions...

hm i guess thats it, now i understand with preferences i must really speak to my partner before i begin writing. for example if my story should be ONLY hetero or that i should like to include some bondage depending on my partners likes and dislikes!

The aim of the swap is to send a short story ,I really feel that to start sending the stories back will cause complications ,If you would like a critique you could request a pm or email from your swap partner if they feel comfortable with it , but it is not part of the swap requirments, also the one page of A4 is a minimum after that let your imagination run wild ,write in your own style ,go with the flow and enjoy it, please try and note any preferences in the comments and by all means contact your partner for more info but lets just enjoy putting pen to paper ,although a story with an email critique would be a very good idea for a future swap :)

Yes - I get it - the logistics of the critique-ing can get hair-raising. I suppose when we rate we can mention ONE specific thing in the story that we especially enjoyed.

I am also very nervous about this - a sure sign, as you said, of something I NEED to do. I find myself thinking sexy vignettes as I wash the dishes, drive to the store... ALL the time. I suppose the story will develop when I actually start putting the words down.

I've written a story but from the looks of the comments here I might need to just open a line of communication with my partner when partners are assigned because my story is more than just sexy hints. Its blunt and VERY adult in content. I am very gun-shy about this swap now and don't want my story to offend.

For my partner-- Nearly anything goes! I read most anything... Some of my fave cetegories on literotica.com are sci-fim non-human, taboo, and horror. My only request is no gore or snuff. I like light BSDM stories, hetero, lez, 3-some... Think Violet Blue, Poppy Z, or Carol Queen. Basically whatever, the more explicit, the better-- I am not offended by four-letter words! Just joined the swap, and have a story already in mind. I like this idea a lot, and am ready to start writing it up. The only thing that's off limits is man-on-man, I'm not a fan of that.
