Description: | |
This is an international swap for pagans/wiccans/witches and anyone else who wishes to participate! You will be making one Book of Shadows page for your partner, as well as writing them a note/letter. Get creative & make the BOS page something you would be proud to have in your own book of shadows. The note/letter can be short or long - introduce yourself, or talk about why you chose the subject for your page, or your journey, or tell them about your autumn, or whatever you like! Extras are welcome but not required. Swap Requirements: The page should be 8.5" x 11" inches, unless your partner has specified below that they would be open to receiving a different size. (If you are open to other sizes of page, please comment below, however, this is an optional thing, so do not rate down if/simply because you receive an 8.5" x 11" inch page). You are expected to send your partner something unique, made by you. It need not be perfect or intricate, but don’t simply print off a page from the internet or send a plain page. Take the time & effort to give it a little magic. Use good sense and judgement when choosing what to send. Although this swap does not need to be profile-based, do take a look at your partner’s profile to see what they like and don’t like to receive. i.e. If they clearly state that they don’t like glitter, then don’t send them something with glitter. Include a note/letter in your swap including your swap-bot name, the name of this swap, and some words to your partner. Make sure your profile is well filled out! If your profile is blank or contains very little information, you will be removed from the swap prior to partners being assigned. Make sure you meet the rating requirement and have no unaddressed 1’s or 3’s to active swappers. I will also remove people at my discretion, but hopefully I won't have to. Send your swap on time, and rate in a timely fashion according to the swap guidelines and swap-bot’s criteria, not how much you liked the swap (that's what hearts are for!) If you are unable to complete the swap on time for any reason, please drop out before the signup deadline, or if partners have already been assigned, contact your partner and host ASAP! Some Ideas: Write an original spell or incantation, a magical recipe you’ve made before, or some useful magical information, and add borders and illustrations to make it look like an illuminated manuscript. Go black and white or add some color, or create your page on interesting paper. Consider layering images, text, and different elements based on your theme. You could include extras and/or decorate the envelope if you want to (not required). Quick Recap:
That’s it! Happy swapping! If you have any questions feel free to post them below! I will angel anyone whose partner flakes (after they have been rated 1), but let’s get off to a good start so I don’t need to! If you're a pagan, witch, wiccan, or someone who feels the magic of nature, why not come join us over at The Wildwood group? |
