Description:

This is the international version of my Autumn themed swap, one ounce, one stamp since international postage is more expensive.

Hello! For those of you interested in a one stamp international swap, I hope you will consider joining! A standard envelope can hold a lot, and there is no limit to creativity and hand made items here, so this can be a very low cost one stamp swap. Since it is sender's choice, you can choose to send store bought or a mix of hand made items.

It is finally that time of year, when the leaves are turning golden, and the holidays are just around the corner. I have hosted this swap a few times in the past, and have been looking forward to doing this again! It has been and should be a lot of fun to create. Let's be generous and send each other some beautiful golden, orange and red hued cheerful mail. Here are the requirements:

Send a minimum of one ounce of Autumn themed items, choosing from the list below as a guide. This is sender's choice in the theme of Autumn, Fall, and Harvest type things. Halloween items meet the requirements, because it is part of the season, as long as a Halloween theme isn't the majority of the swap you send.

These items include: note cards, post cards, stationary sets, ephemera, stickers, hand made art, ATC's, postage stamps (used or new), seasonal tea such as orange spice, cinnamon, etc., book marks, washi tape rolls, and magnets. Ideally we create a swap from things that could be used in journaling, letters, cards, and of course, future swaps!

Please write a message to your partner conveying what you love most about Autumn. It can be as brief or as long as you like. I often find that the hand written letters and hand made art are my favorite part of the swap I receive!

Please decorate your envelope. We don't need to be skilled to create a beautiful envelope. It can have drawings, painting, rubber stamps, stickers, or anything else you can come up with. The rating is to be based on decoration around the theme, not skill level, so no stress! If the envelope is decorated it meets the requirements.

Please feel free to message me with any questions. I always read each profile entirely before assigning partners, and I am happy to angel my swaps if necessary. The postal service is slow these days, so please have patience, this is meant to be fun!

Hi, I would love to join. Just wanted to point out our postal rates! One ounce is a bit more then 20 grams, and in the Netherlands you can send 20 grams for one stamp. I do not mind putting two stamps on my swap (and send 50 grams), but maybe other European countries have the same postal rates?

Hi roosje! I didn't have many people interested in my regional 2 ounce, 2 stamp swap, so I made this one smaller to make it easier for some that might not have as much to send. I would love to do a private swap with you, if you are interested in doing a two stamp, two ounce swap. Since I already have members who have joined, I think I need to keep this swap as is.

Hi Sofia, thanks for your reply! I would love to do a private swap. However, the problem remains the same! Two ounces = 56,7 grams and that wil require three stamps to send. Hahahaha... so let's stick to 2 stamps, and I could send 50 grams of fall goodies!

Oh, I see what you mean now, I'll send you a message! I look forward to swapping with you!
